The Blame

Viewers of British crime who care more about the squad room than the clue board will settle in here. A pub scene sets the tone. Crane and Radley sit at the table while other officers talk crudely about picking up women. Michelle Keegan gives Crane a firm emotional centre among them. The murder case and the point about misogyny sometimes compete for attention.

One investigation runs across the whole season rather than a case each week, so watch in order; the pace is steady and sometimes slow.
