Is it for me?
Hospital-drama fans who want an earnest, hopeful centre and can put up with some soap around the edges will settle in fast. Early on, a boy is hurt at an airport and Shaun makes the emergency call to help him breathe before the surgeons take over. Freddie Highmore keeps his face still and lets the effort show, and Richard Schiff's Glassman argues his corner.
Before you start
Each episode is a new case, and later seasons give the doctors' romances and personal lives more room than the patients.
7 seasons, 126 episodes, 60 min each, about 126 hours so far
