Is it for me?
Legal-drama fans who like their cases fast, funny and pulled from the week's headlines will find a sharper cousin of The Good Wife here. Christine Baranski plays Diane tart one minute and visibly shaken the next. Early on, Maia is told the firm fires about half its new hires within a month. Sarah Steele's Marissa steals scenes.
Before you start
Early seasons stay close to real cases; later ones get stranger and more openly political, and add short animated musical numbers.
