Is it for me?
People who enjoy friends being rude to each other more than car specs will settle in fast. Clarkson blusters with certainty, and May answers in a slow, dry voice that deflates him. The launch show has a tent in the California desert, a crowd, a squadron of jets and a fire-spitting metal scorpion, all so three men can mock their own careers.
Before you start
Early seasons mix the car films with studio segments and staged gags; later ones are mostly feature-length road-trip specials.
6 seasons, 46 episodes, 71 min each, about 54 hours so far
