Is it for me?
Dystopian drama for viewers who want it political and uncomfortable, and who can take it in small doses. Offred's dry inner voice keeps it from going cold, and Elisabeth Moss lets a whole thought cross her face in close-up without a word. In one early scene the Handmaids gather around Janine to help deliver her baby, which sends Offred back to her own daughter's birth.
Before you start
Season one is ten episodes, and from season three it turns grimmer.
6 seasons, 66 episodes, 52 min each, about 57 hours so far
