The Hunting Wives
DramaThriller2025Rated 6.0
Sophie O'Neil moves with her family from the East Coast to small-town East Texas, where she meets Margo Banks at a party for her husband's new boss and joins her circle of wealthy women who hunt and shoot.
Starring Malin Akerman, Brittany Snow, Jaime Ray Newman
Season premiereIn 29 days
Season 2Thu 26 Nov
Season 2 of The Hunting Wives lands on Thursday, 26 November 2026 on Netflix, all 8 episodes at once.
Is it for me?
Trashy Southern soap for viewers who still miss Desperate Housewives and want more bite with the gossip. Malin Akerman plays Margo as a queen bee who says the unsayable, like when she cheerfully describes her marriage to Jed before a fundraiser crowd while Sophie looks on stunned. Boozy nights and melodramatic confrontations keep coming, and it is happy to be outrageous.
Before you start
It is one story built around a murder investigation, and the backstories come out slowly, so give the first episodes time.
1 season, 8 episodes, 50 min each, about 7 hours so far
