Is it for me?
Spy fans who prefer patient talk and a charming villain to constant action will settle in here. Tom Hiddleston plays Pine quiet and watchful, nothing like his Loki, and the scenes that matter are conversations where he has to be liked by a man who sells weapons. Hugh Laurie clearly relishes Roper, all warmth and good manners at his own villa.
Before you start
The first episode is mostly setup and jumps around in time; the story settles into a straight line from episode two.
