Is it for me?
Dark fantasy for people who would rather wander through strange places than chase a plot. Dream's sand leads him to Johanna Constantine, and he leaves with a talking raven named Matthew who becomes his adviser. The dream realm fills with odd residents, and Tom Sturridge plays the king solemn and slightly lost among humans, which gives the oddness a straight face.
Before you start
Season 1 is loosely episodic and slow to wake, with one-off hours between the main hunt, while season 2 moves much faster across many eras.
2 seasons, 21 episodes, 51 min each, about 18 hours so far
