Is it for me?
It is a sensual costume drama for viewers who prefer scheming in silence to swordplay, in the vein of Dangerous Liaisons. Lady Cho hides her unease behind a polite face and sends her cousin a letter with an idea. The show keeps returning to scenes like that, where a glance is held a beat too long. Son Ye-jin plays her sharp and lonely.
Before you start
It is one continuous story, so watch in order; the pace stays slow, with long still scenes.
1 season, 8 episodes, 58 min each, about 8 hours so far
