The Westies

Crime fans who like their mobsters loud, funny and bad at taking orders will settle in fast. J.K. Simmons plays Eamon like a dad at the end of his rope, threatening one minute and sighing at his grown men the next. A kidnapped Italian hood named Vinnie sets off a bungled drive toward Boston that plays closer to farce than to The Sopranos.

Watch the first two episodes back to back, since the second depends directly on the opener, and the story runs in order from there.
