Is it for me?
Viewers who like watching an institution work, with paperwork, surveillance and arguments over budgets instead of shootouts, will settle in. Nobody on this squad is a natural hero, and the show lets them be petty and funny. Herc, Carver and Prez run early-morning street stops at the towers and set off a minor riot, which plays as comedy and as a real mistake at once.
Before you start
The first few episodes are slow and the large cast is hard to tell apart, so give it three before deciding.
5 seasons, 60 episodes, 60 min each, about 60 hours so far
