Is it for me?
Mystery viewers who like the mood to change week to week, creepy one night and funny the next, get a lot out of this. One early case has killings in sealed rooms, and Mulder blames a janitor he insists is a mutant. David Duchovny states his theories with dry, flat certainty, and Gillian Anderson's Scully tests each one against the evidence instead of just saying no.
Before you start
About a third of episodes follow the alien storyline, so the standalone monster cases work on their own.
11 seasons, 218 episodes, 60 min each, about 218 hours so far
