Is it for me?
Mystery fans who like their small towns creepy and a little campy, in the Twin Peaks line, will have a good time here. Terrence Howard plays Sheriff Pope with a cheerful, cheesy menace, and when Ethan reports a body, Pope keeps eating his ice cream. Matt Dillon answers every obstacle with more gruff anger, which makes the town's polite stonewalling funnier.
Before you start
Season one starts answering its own questions by the halfway point; season two is original material under a new showrunner.
2 seasons, 20 episodes, 60 min each, about 20 hours so far
