Welcome to Wrexham
DramaComedy2022Rated 7.4
Two actors with no football experience buy Wrexham AFC, Wales' oldest club, a struggling team, and try to turn it around alongside its players, staff and fans.
Starring Ryan Reynolds, Rob McElhenney
Next season
Season 6announced, no date yet
Weekly, last aired Thu, 25 Jun 2026
Is it for me?
A sports documentary for people who know nothing about football and want an underdog to root for, with jokes mostly at the owners' expense. Every season, Rob and Ryan trip over the Welsh language and the show lets them look daft. Between those bits it explains lower-league rules to an American audience, then cuts match days against stories of a player, a staff member or a fan.
Before you start
The first season stays closest to Rob and Ryan; later ones give more room to the players and townspeople, with fewer episodes each.
5 seasons, 57 episodes, 60 min each, about 44 hours so far
