Is it for me?
Soft-hearted family comedy for people who want a warm half hour more than a laugh a minute, and Big Bang Theory fans get a few extra jokes. Worried he has no friends, Sheldon borrows a self-help book from the library and tries its tips on teachers and classmates, which goes about as well as you'd guess. Iain Armitage plays him stiff and certain, and Jim Parsons narrates the fallout dryly.
Before you start
It starts as a straight sitcom and leans warmer, toward family drama, in the later seasons, with more threads running across episodes.
7 seasons, 141 episodes, 30 min each, about 71 hours so far
